National Trails Day on Mount Dean Stone

When: Sunday, June 2nd; 8:00am - 12:30pm

Where: Mount Dean Stone south

Come celebrate our trails and the Mount Dean Stone project! Connect to the landscape with a variety of great activities in the morning, then join us for fun, food and an REI backcountry lounge. Click here for more information and to register for activities.

Big Sky Brewing Company Summer Concerts: Brad Paisley

When: Friday, June 14th; 5:00pm - 11:00pm

Where: Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheatre

Enjoy great music and great beer in support of conservation! Through our partnership with Big Sky Brewing Company and Knitting Factory Entertainment, our volunteers will be pouring beer and selling drink tickets at the show, and in exchange Five Valleys will receive a portion of the beer sales proceeds. Birding on the Open Cross Ranch

When: Sunday, June 16th, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Where: The Open Cross Ranch, Hall

Griffith-Fee Hands on the Land Workday

When: Saturday, June 29th, 9:00am - 2:00pm

Where: The Griffith-Fee Conservation Easement, Alberton

Community Field Day at Rock Creek

When: Sunday, June 30th; 9:00am - 1:00pm

Where: The Rock Creek Confluence Property, Clinton

Bring the whole family and celebrate summer at the Confluence! Five Valleys and our partner will be hosting a variety of fun activities for all ages, including a bird banding demonstration, an insect hunt, a tour of our all abilities trail, a picnic lunch and more. 5th Annual Revive & Thrive 

When: Sunday, July 14th; 10:00am - 3:00pm

Where: Hill 16, Blackfoot Valley (download driving directions map)

Help us and our partners at The Nature Conservancy and Blackfoot Challenge spruce up the trails on Hill 16! You supply the labor, and we'll supply lunch and brews. Work party begins at 10:00am, lunch and festivities commence at 1:00pm. For more information, contact Helen Jenkins at

Osprey Baseball Community and Environment Night

When and Where: Online until July 17th

In partnership with Missoula Osprey Professional Baseball, Five Valleys is selling tickets for the July 17th baseball game against the Ogden Raptors. RecCon Montana

When: Friday, July 19th - Saturday July 20th; 10:00am - 9:00pm

Where: Fort Missoula Regional Park, Missoula (view map)

The first annual RecCon Montana aims to bring together Montana’s, outdoor retailers, manufacturers, guiding and outfitting services, outdoor sports enthusiasts, non-profits, government agencies and public land owners from around the state and country to showcase the wide range of things you can do in the great state of Montana. Five Valleys will be in attendance, so swing by our table, say hello, and learn about Mount Dean Stone and our other conservation projects!
