Land Trust Day at the Capitol

Celebrate Your Local Land Trust!

This one day celebration of land trusts and land trust work is open to the entire land trust community: land trust staff, board members, landowners, volunteers, and supporters. Everybody is encouraged to participate!

When: Wednesday, March 29th; 9:00am to 2:00pm

Where: Montana Capitol Building, Helena

Schedule of Events:

10:00am - Welcome in the rotunda by State Representative Denise Hayman

10:15 - Noon - Open session to contact individual legislators and discuss the value of Montana private land conservation. 

11:45 - 1:00pm - Lunch in the Capitol rotunda. Thank you to Prickly Pear Land Trust for organizing and helping serve lunch!

1:30 - 2:00pm - Land trust community meeting with Governor Bullock, Lt. Governor Cooney, and key members of the Bullock administration, in the Governor’s Reception Room.

Five Valleys will have an information table in the Capitol building.  Swing by, say hello, and support your local land trust!
