Public lands are part what makes Montana, Montana. For the second year in a row, Five Valleys is honored to be partnering with REI, the Montana Conservation CorpsMTB Missoula, The Nature Conservancy, City of Missoula Parks and Recreation and the Montana Natural History Center to celebrate our public lands. All ages welcome.

We'll be building a short trail to a scenic overlook off of the main Inez Creek trail in Miller Creek, on the south side of Mount Dean Stone. After, join us for a celebratory National Public Lands Day barbecue lunch!

Pre-registration for this event is required. Register here.

Shuttles to the worksite will depart the Five Valleys office at 9:00am (view map). Shuttle parking will be available in the Five Valleys parking lot and at Currents Aquatics Center.

Participants should bring gloves and sun protection and wear work clothes and closed-toe footwear. Volunteers will also receive a free REI Steward T-shirt (sizes available on first come basis)!
