Monthly Giving Club

If the idea of simplifying the membership donation process … eliminating the need for annual renewal notices … increasing the value of your support … and helping reduce Five Valleys’ administrative costs interests you, then you should consider becoming a member of our Monthly Giving Club.

Similar to other automatic monthly payments you might make for a mortgage or other fixed payments, you can authorize a set amount to be transferred from your checking/savings account or charged to your credit card each month and deposited directly into Five Valleys’ bank account.

Why monthly donations?

  • Automatic donations increase the value of your support by reducing administrative costs in processing your donations.
  • Without the need for annual renewal notices, monthly donations help save Five Valleys’ resources and postage costs.
  • You can put your donation to work right away without any mail or processing delays.
  • By donating monthly, your tax-deductible donation will be spread throughout the year.

Best of all, becoming a Monthly Giving Club member is easy.  Regardless of whether you are joining as a new member or would like to renew your membership by switching to monthly donations, just choose from the two options below and follow the easy directions:

1) Monthly Donations from your checking or savings account -- To authorize monthly donations from your checking or savings account, just follow these steps:

  • Download and print Five Valleys’ monthly electronic Debit Authorization Form.

  • Using this form, indicate whether you want the donation to come from your checking or savings account; the day you would like the donation to be processed, and the amount of the monthly tax-deductible gift you wish to make ($5 minimum).

  • Attach a voided check or blank deposit ticket from your checkbook to your authorization form.

  • Complete the rest of the form and mail it, along with any necessary attachments as indicated, to Five Valleys Land Trust, PO Box 8953, Missoula, MT 59807.

Once your automatic monthly authorization is processed, every month the donation amount you indicated will be deducted from your checking or savings account.

2) Monthly Donations by credit card -- If you wish to make monthly donations by credit card, there are two ways you can begin:

A) You can authorize Five Valleys to process your monthly credit card donation:

  • Download and print Five Valleys’ Monthly Credit Card Authorization Form.

  • Using this form, fill in your credit card information. Indicate the day you wish the donation to be charged to your credit card and the amount of your monthly tax-deductible gift ($10 minimum).

  • Mail it to Five Valleys Land Trust, PO Box 8953, Missoula, MT 59807.

B) You can initiate monthly credit card donations yourself on-line:

  • Go to our secure On-line Donations page.

  • Enter the desired amount of your monthly donation.

  • Select the “I want to make a recurring donation” option and choose “monthly”.
  • Complete the rest of the on-line form with your credit card information, name, and address.

By using either of these credit card monthly donation options, each month your credit card will be charged for the amount you indicated.

Regardless of whether you chose to make monthly donations from your checking/savings account or with a credit card, if you move, change banks/credit cards, or wish to change/stop your monthly donations, simply write us or give us a call.

To show our appreciation of your monthly commitment, in addition to your usual membership benefits we’ll send you a Five Valleys’ Monthly Giving Club travel mug.  Use it on the road or to save resources when you visit your favorite coffee shop, and let it remind you of the impact your support has on our efforts each day.
