Five Valleys' 50th Anniversary Celebration

The last fifty years would not have been possible without you– our community of supporters, landowners, project partners, and volunteers. Gather and help us celebrate this momentous milestone in Five Valleys history together.

Event Details:

When: Saturday, October 1st; 4:00-9:00pm
Where: The Line Ranch , 1135 Whitaker Drive, Missoula (map)
What:

We're taking the festivities up to The Line Ranch and everyone is welcome! We will activities and games for all ages (face painting, inflatable obstacle course, dunk tank, yard games, and more), a BBQ dinner, dancing, and live music by Mudslide Charley. Below is a schedule of events.

  • 4:00-7:00pm: Games, activities for all ages, and more
  • 5:00-7:00pm: BBQ Dinner by Bravo! Catering
  • 6:00pm: 50th Anniversary remarks
  • 6:30-9:00pm: Line dancing and music by Mudslide Charley

We'll also be raffling off a variety of awesome prizes. At the event purchase tickets (1 ticket for $5 and 5 tickets for $20), divvy them up, and be entered to win:

Guided Raft Trip on the Gorge

Join Five Valleys Board Member and UM Outdoor Program Director, Elizabeth Fricke, for a float down the Alberton Gorge. This trip is to be used in 2023 and is for up to six people, and includes lunch on the water. Thank you Elizabeth.

Marshall Mountain Ski Lift Chair

These famous pink chairs shuttled skiers up at Marshall Mountain Ski Area for decades, now one of them could be yours. Wherever and however you decide to use it, it's sure to be a conversation starter. Thank you Izzy Dog LLC.

20 Pounds of Ground Beef

Know your rancher! Stock your freezer with 20 pounds of ground beef from the Iverson Family Ranch, which is protected by a Five Valleys conservation easement in the scenic Potomac Valley. Thank you Iverson Family Ranch.

Guided Ride on House of Sky

Join Five Valleys Board Member, Shaun Radley, and Associate Director, Ben Horan, for a guided bike tour of House of Sky on Mount Dean Stone. This ride is for up to six people, includes lunch, and must be used in Oct. 2022. Thank you Shaun.
