50th Anniversary Celebration Photo Collage

From the Board and staff at Five Valleys Land Trust, we want to thank you all for an absolutely incredible year. We are humbled and inspired by our community’s continued support of our work, for your generosity, and for helping us celebrate five decades of serving Western Montana.

Over the last few months, you came out for our largest Banquet ever, volunteered at the Big Sky Brewing Summer Concert Series, gave generously to the Montana Forever Campaign, dug into Hands on the Land volunteering days, opened a new trail on Mount Dean Stone, lent us your knowledge for a Rock Creek Confluence bioblitz, supported our summer fundraiser, contributed to our 50th anniversary Story Map project, and so much more.

On October 1st, we invited Western Montana to join us at the Line Ranch to celebrate 50 years of community conservation. Nearly 400 people came out for fun and community on the slopes of Mount Dean Stone. From a dunk tank to a disco ball in the pole barn, it was a night we will not soon forget. Thank you to First Interstate Bank, the Line family, our many generous business sponsors, our hardworking volunteers, Mudslide Charley, and our partners and vendors for making the event possible.

We hope you will take a moment to enjoy some photos of our 50th Anniversary Community Celebration. As we close out 2022, we look forward to sharing with you all the ways your support of Five Valleys Land Trust has, and will continue to make a difference for the rivers, wildlife, agricultural lands, and communities across Western Montana. Thank you!

Thank you, Western Montana!
